Had to rewrite the second part (with the majority of attempts/interruptions), then realized I might as well post the first part now.

Last night, I decided to save episode 4.18 of Supernatural for the weekend since I hadn’t slept for about 2 days and I wanted to go to bed.   Seemed like a good idea until I went to check my F-list this morning and saw many mentions of how awesome the show was and realized that I wouldn’t be able to read everyone’s thoughts and make comments and exchange ideas and blah blah blah.

So now I’ve got to wait until lunch and watch the show online because I’m like a frickin addict—not for the show, I actually have incredible self-control for the show because it’s like Christmas/Chrimukkah/Festivus/whatever where the suspense and wonder is actually enjoyable (excluding 4.16, which I was ready to jump on like it was Jensen’s face or something). No, I’m an addict for seeing what everyone thought; I don’t know how overseas folks who have to wait for the show do it.

Update to note with more detail that this is crossover slash between Dean Winchester (a hunter and saver of people from Supernatural) and Eliot (a fighter and con artist out to help people from Leverage) originally posted on the comment_fic community.

“Who doesn’t have warrants in Mexico?  If we start avoiding places because we’ve got warrants we’ll never leave the house.” Dean’s ears perked up at what sounded like a southern twang approaching from the hallway to the back of the bar, but he kept his eyes focused on the amber liquid in his glass, pretending not to hear a conversation that was probably supposed to be private.

“Alice…” He could hear the change in the man’s voice, southern twang replaced by something more controlled--tense.  “I thought we were supposed to be closed.”

“This customer had money.” Dean could see the woman bounce, a little blonde who had looked very pleased when he plunked five twenties down on the bar and asked her to keep the scotch flowing.

It would happen every month or so, John would get a text message letting him know that Eliot was in the same town.  It was easier to keep track of the wrestler’s schedule than to know where Eliot would be on any given day.  John couldn’t call him the ‘construction worker’ or the ‘bounty hunter’ or the ‘animal trainer’ because Eliot always danced around the question of what it was he did for a living.

The bruises and scars to rival his own made John lean towards bounty hunter.

Seriously, the show just left me with this amazing feeling. And then I think of the drama and Dean/Cas goodness that was last week and it's insane how two such different eps can have me in love with the tone--looking at the endings alone, how do I love them both so much?

Not even writing the review yet, but I need to make notes to myself just to remember what I want to talk about tomorrow.  Mostly my renewed love of Sam, motivational speeches, the AU fanfic-ness of the episode, and why I'm cool with who gave the motivation and who didn't.  Cut for spoilers in case anyone F-listed me and hasn't seen the ep.
